Hey FM Addicteds,
In my last post I started to write about my first season with Tottenham Hotspur starting from friendly matches.
Now time to talk about tactics.
What you should pay attention while setting a tactic is the main topic of this post. Lets start my main tactics in Tottenham. You are lucky if you are managing a team like Tottenham that has strong goal feet.
4-2-3-1 arrangement is my favourite. 3 strong attacking midfielders, 1 advanced forward are my killer shoots to finish the match.
My wingers are the attacker guys. It is easy to assing roles and duties in FM 2010.. What you do is just clicking right mouse button and ticking the one whichever you want.
My central midfielders play with Support duty. Support duty provides to hold his position in the middle of the park and play balls forward to players ahead of him.
Wing backs play with automatic duty... Sometimes attack sometimes defence... Especially if you prefer to play attacking style you need backs' dribblings and instant crossing towards to rivals' defence...
Maybe the most important part of this tactic is here... The attacking midfielder who plays behind the forward has the most important role in this team arrangement. Because he plays as an inside forward and he runs directly at the defence with the options of shooting, passing or crossing as he moves into the final third.
