In my last post, I have started my first season story. Now we finally arrived the firsy half season.
After the half of the season, it is better to check the league table and see where we are and what we will do with these results.
To be honest, we are in better stage than I expect. I think this time we will succeed to reach the UEFA.
As you see, now we are at 9th position and my closest rivals are Fulham, Stoke, Bolton and Newcastle. After the 19 matches, we have 26 points, too far away from the 1. position (51 points) I have not big concern about position but I have about my defence.. Because my goal difference is -3. I conceded too easy and I think I will be more focusing on searches for goalkeeper and defences.
Indeed this is an expected result. because my tactic is based on attacking mentality and so it is normal to see so many goals in back of my net but however, we should be better.
Now we are at the first days of 2012 and we have a long month to make some free transfers but for time being, what a pity, it is too difficult to attract high quality players.
Another annoying point is the contract ends. I was about to lost my two left back without earning any money: Nick Shorey and Joe Mattock. To protect their leave I have offered new contracts but they did not accept so I also decided to sell them. In the left side, I have Marvin Plattenhardt and thus I will give him more chances.Now he is playing every week and it is honour for me
As a result, I have sold Nick and Joe and I have earned 1.7 Million Euro.
