I have finished season 1 and as a brief, I can say that we as WestBrom are successful.
To take a look at to the 1st season with WestBrom:
- We have won the FA Cup and got the seat at the European Cup. Next year we will be challanging at UEFA.
- We have scored 65 goals and conceded 76 goals in the league and this shows the problematic points in my defence and goalkeeper. Indeed, I have a good goalkeeper but I have problem especially in my left wing. What a pity, Marvin Plattenhardt transfer showed itself as waste of money. I have spent 4 Million for this transfer but I am not happy with Marvin's performance. So I started searches again and I think I have found the player I look for. He is Dodo from Corinthians Under 23s. I have spent 3.5 M Euro for this transfer and he is a cheaper transfer compared to Marvin.. I hope next season I will not have problems with my left wing.
Indeed, Marvin has good attributes but his inexperience worth us expensive in some really important matches.
But when you compare Marvin and Dodo, you will see the quality difference. This time I am sure with my transfer.
Now lets make some analysis after the season end.
Goal Analysis
In goal analysis it is obvious that we are starting very concentrated at both halves. But, again it is so obvious that we lost our confidence and concentration at the second 15 minutes after the start. On the other hand, we find most of our goals at first 15 minutes. So from a different point of view, it is possible to say that after we find goal in first 15 minutes, we easily lose our team plan and see the goals at the back of our nets in the following 15 minutes. Again it is possible to say that my players pay attention to my shouts especially when we are back on the score sheet because you see that we have found more goals then conceded at last 15 minutes.
I have some special samples for this matches. Afew times, I really experienced very exciting comeback.

Now lets take a look at tactic analysis
Tactics Analysis
As you see I prefer 4-2-3-1 tactics. In my tactics, wingers and 2 midfielders are my key factors. I expect my wingers to act as shadow strikers and I got happy when they succeeded to score.
Besides, 2 midfielders are the front door of my castle and their strength is really important for me not to see goal at the back of my net. Because, this tactic include fluid game plan and my strategy is focused on attacking. So, most of the time I can be caught while I am attacking. At these situations, I trust my midfielders.
When looking at the whole season, I am happy with my midfielders. Ok, I know I had seen many goals then I expected but anyhow, they do their best. Especially, Emre Can and Mulumbu deserved my thanks.
I will continue season highlights in my next post. I do not wanna write long posts and make you bored.
