WestBrom Story-Season 2- First Half of the Season

Hello FMAddicteds,

For a while I was stuck in the game and to be honest, I spent most of my spare time playing FM rather then writing here. So lets go on where we stop.

To be honest, this first half of the season is a big disappointment for me. Because team really goes down at defence. In these days, I see how a player can be so important. I mean Jonas Olsson. I let him go when he wanna leave but now I can assure that it was a mistake.


Indeed league table says the opposite because now we are at 6th and comparing to last season, it seems better. But my avarage is 0. I concede too cheaply. 

There is 18 points between us and Man. City; on the other hand there is 13 points difference between me and Bolton the 19th. So everything may change suddenly unfortunately for our down.

However, I believe that a manager will show his quality in these days and I have some hopes for the future.  First of all, we are very confident at our mighty home, The Hawthorns.

If you look at the home records, we are at the 3rd in the league. For 9 matches, 6 won, 2 drawn and only 1 lost. But I will not be able to say the same thing for away record.. That really sucks.

We are at 16th at the league with 2 won, 6 losts.

Let me tell you my thoughts about my new transfers:

Sinan Bolat, my goalie, still could not get used to playing here and I am not happy with his performance. I think next year I will again do my best to take Carlos Kameni or another one from my favourite goalies.  He has really good attributes but he could not show his quality yet at The Howthorns.. Fans are looking forward to seeing him as saviour of the team.

I have really big hopes for Emre Can. I am sure that in the next seasons, I will be writing about Emre if he continues his development. For time being, I could not give him shirt so much, generally I prefer Youssuf Mulumbu and Scott Brown at my midfield but Emre works very hard and does his best when he is playing.

Tiago Ilori is a really good back up and I am sure that he would be better if there was Olsson in the team. Now I am giving him chance and he is working hard but he is young and he needs experience. However, I am sure that he will be one of my key players for the next seasons.

Besides these transfers, one of the suprising player is Robbie Cotton. I have added Robbie to the team at the start of the season as free and he shows a good potantial and I am happy with his performance.
