A Necessary Change in My Career

Hello Dear FM Addicteds,

Last week I have started a new career at FM 13 with Newcastle United but I continued from the saved game that I played at Demo version. I have added the new leagues at game but i did not notice that they are not playable. So I had to restart the game.

To be honest, I had a really successful story at Newcastle United but on the other hand, Newcastle has a strong squad and it will not be so enjoyable to challange with Newcastle. So i decided to choose a weaker team at premier league. That team is Southampton as known as Soton.

To be honest, I admired the attacking power of Soton. Especially, two of them are very special; Jay Rodriguez and Gaston Ramirez. These two guys are the special stars of the team. Besides, Rickie Lambert is also very powerful striker.  So it will be very difficult to apply my standart 4-2-3-1 tactical approach but i wish it would be my biggest problem.

Now lets take a look at my squad depth

As it is very obvious i will need to strengthen my defensive line and it would be perfect if i can find a good AMC. Besides, I will look for a goalie but most probably my transfer budget will not be enough to achieve all of these. Because i have only  € 4.6 Million transfer budget and €1.5 Million wage budget remaining. I think i will have to send some of the players that may be out of my plans but I know very well that sending many players and bringing new faces are breaking the harmony at the team. So i will try to keep the balance.
