Training is more than important than it seems. My advice is setting up new schedules for each position. Think about it.Is it logical that goalkeeper and forwards are having the same training schedules. Nope, it is not logic. Goalkeepers should work on goal keeping and forward should work on scoring and others also do their own training. So in each version of FM, i set up new schedules for each position. See the screenshots for each position trainin. My way is setting up schedules for goalkeepers (GK), defence players, midfielders, forwards and one preseason trainin for all players before the season start to load them all to increase the strength and make them ready to season.
Now lets give some tips. What i care about these schedules is deciding who will what to do.
For Goalkeepers :
An intense goalkeeping training,
Medium near -to- high strength and aerobics
Medium abit above ball control
A bit tactics, set pieces, shooting and pinches of defending and attacking.
As a total try to be stay under the high level. Because high level training can make the players load much more than they can stand and this can cause injuries .
Medium near -to- high strength and aerobicsBelow medium tactics and ball control, set pieces
and pinches of shooting training.
For Midfielders:
Middfielders' training is so stable and medium training. Not heavy not light and it is a bit a package of all trainings. Near to high medium strength and aerobic, medium set pieces a bit heavier than tactics and ball control, some attacking and shooting.
This part can show some differences. This is all about my tactical understanding. I like attack playing style and so my midfielders should be able to play attacking style. But however i do never give up a good, resolute, tireless defensive midfielders. He is always my fuse in midfield.
For forwards:
It is like its name... Forwards' training focus on attacking. My shooters should be powerful so i pay attention to strength and aerobics training too.
I will write about my game tactics in my following posts.
PS: A new training schedule is not the solution. The performers of these training packages are more important than itself. I mean coaches. I will prepare a list of wonderful staff and give some tips how to set up 7 -star- training programs.
