For a long and successfull years in a team, you need a good staff who have a common understanding and sharing of success desire. For a good start, you should wear your war boots and start from scratching. I mean you should be paying attention to everything, from stadium to youth facilities, from a young talent to board interaction. This is anymore more important in FM 2011. Especially player and board interaction is taking more place in the game.
I have started searching especially the free staff, free but quality ones... Because I do not have a large transfer and wage budget so I have to be careful while splashing the money. There are two points you have to take into consideration
- The limit of the staff. Whata pity you can not have as many staff as you wish. Board has a limit for the staff spaces and so you should be careful while you choose the man you want to work with.
- The amount you have to pay for mutual termination and compensation fee.
Now lets take a look at what I did for the first season.

I have signed with 23 staff during the season and terminated the contract with 5 staff. Termination number is less compared to new signings because I did not want to pay high amounts as termination fee.
I have signed with 2 physio, 3 youth coaches, 2 first team coach, 1 fitness coach, 5 coaches, 9 scouts and 1 Assistant Manager. Although I have tried to sign free staff, sometimes it became impossible and I had to pay compensation. For these 23 staff, I have paid 1.9 million compensation money.
Why I pay attention to these figures is trying to keep the club finance under control. These spendings are in a tendency to spoil the balance in the finance and consequently it will reflect to your wage and transfer budget. So I would like to suggest you to pay attention to this figures.
