Hello Dear FM Addicteds,
Maybe you heard that transfer market was very busy and an intensive traffic was around Villarreal FC Headquarter:) The agents are coming and leaving El Madrigal. Some of them happy some of them are curious because of meeting a manager who loves bargaining :p
My money is very precious. I am not rich, I do not have money to waste, I have money just for invest. As you remember from my previous post I have only 7.75 Million $ as transfer budget. So I have to be careful while spending on the money.
First thing I have done with my squad is examining the squad variety and try to understand how they are appropriate to the tactic in my mind... It is ofcourse attacking based tactic and generally I prefer 4-2-3-1
and I posted about this tactic previously.
According to this tactical approach, the players in my plans are obvious.. So I decided to sell the others. Not only to increase the transfer budget but also the wage budget. Because wage budget will be very important during the "approach to sign" available players. To be able to attract them, I should offer more than my rivals to convince them joining my team.
Player Transfers during the season 2010-2011
As you see I tried to catch the balance for the transfer budget. I have sold the players with high salaries but not high quality compare to the money they earnt. Besides, age is another important obsession for me. I know this is not very realistic but I do not like having players older than 30 in my team. Because, it is really difficult to sell a player older than 30 (except goalkeepers) and world-class stars. What a pity I do not have world-class players so for the future, I had to sell them...But do not worry, I have filled their seats with the new young freshies :) Youngs are always open to improvement, their pace, accelaration, work rate are always welcome to new opportunities. I have sold goal keeper Diego Lopez and instead of him I have signed with Carlos Kameni. I have given chances to Diego Lopez in the friendly matches but he could not use these chances and consequently he found himself on the transfer list.
Carlos Kameni is pretty good and cheap signing for me. Because he had a minimum fee clause 8.5 M$ and I did not miss this chance. Other wise it was impossible to sign a goalkeeper in Kameni's quality jsut for 8.5 M$.
His one to one ability and reflexes are making him indespansable and I am happy to see him in Villarreal.
Another excellent and really cheap transfer is my player number is Geraldo from Angola.
His atributes, especially acceleration and agility is really worthy for this money and I decided to sign him. He will be one my wingers. He can play as AML, AMC, and AMR. I will see him dribblings on the right wing and I hope Villarreal supporters will love him too.
Now is my last second flash transfer is coming at scene... He is the captain of Uruguay National Team.. He is Diego Lugano.. I am really happy to have him in my squad. He will be the most important step in building my powerful team. On the other hand, I am really lucky that he had only 5M$ minimum fee and I could convince him with a high salary and signing fee.
He will be the backbone of the team and El Submarino Amarillo fans will love him without doubt.. One point I have to pay attention is his aggression.. It is 20 :( This means that we will see red cards on the field sometimes whatever I do to protect this. But on the other hand, his aggression will fire up the team.
I have also signed Yaroslav Rakitskyi with the coming reports from my scouts. I am not totally sure about this transfer but his attributes may make me wrong and I hope to be wrong on my prejudge about him.
For a strong midfield, I have also signed Ceyhun Gulselam, Thorgan Hazard and fast wingers Omar, Daniel Aquino.
Daniel Aquino was one of my best left winger in FM 09 but I donot know for FM 11.. Lets see togather.
I have paid 1M$ to acquire Daniel Aquino.
Omar, my cheapest transfer, is only 30K$ and he is very similar to Geraldo. If he can find a place in the first team, I will be happy for this transfer.
Ceyhun is very strong and powerful defensive midfielder and I think he will help Marcos Senna to reduce his load on his shoulders and I have paid 2.2M$ for him.
Sergio is also another young talent offered me by my scouts. I will send him loan and make him to gain some experience...
As a last but not the least, here is Thorgan Hazard.. OK, I know he is not the famous Hazard but this is little Hazard and I believe the potential on him.. So lets see if he can become like older Hazard.. Eden Hazard. I would like to have Eden Hazard in my team but with this transfer budget, I even can not buy his shoes :) But I am an optimistic manager.. Maybe next year, you will see him in my team :)
