WestBrom Story- Squad Depth and First Analysis ~ FM Addicted

Hello dear FM Addicteds, After I have learnt the season expectations from the board, I girded my loins and make a meeting with my staff. In this meeting, I have asked my assistant manager to give me a report about the team’s general situation. Now lets take a look at my squad depth analysis.

I am really happy with my GK. Ben Foster is on loan here but I think for next season, I will try to sign him if I cannot find a good replacement.

My other goalkeeper is Marton Fülop and he is a good substitute. Besides, I have also another goalkeeper who is on loan at Birmingham, Boaz Myhill. Why it is strange, I have Ben Foster loan from Birmingham and Birmingham has Boaz loan from WestBrom :)

For my defenders, as a summary I am not happy with my defence strength. I will have to strengthen my defensive line, but to be able to gain a good defence I need more money and for time being, I have not what a pity. So, as a first step to strenghten my defence, I decided to look for young talents at least for loaning. While I try to strenghten my defence, Porto knocked on my door for Jonas Olsson, I have kindly rejected them but they have insisted on coming back with increasing in the offer. Finally, it was too difficult to refuse them. Because, Jonas also wanted to go :( What a pity, I had to allow him. I do not want to keep a player who wanna go.. So i let him go...

Thanks to God that I have grabbed Danny Wilson as loan from Liverpool and better one, I have not paid any fee for loan :)

In the midfield, I have Youssuf Mulumbu. He is my definite MC and key player for the team. He will be the master of the attacking organizations.

Another MC will be Paul Scharner. Besides, I have strengthen my MC with Ex-Real Madrid tenisious midfielder, Mahamadou Diarra. Diarra is a free transfer and this is also another reason why I tried to grab him. He will be strong alternative in midfield.

For my wings, I will prefer Chris Brunt at right wing. Chris is the one of captains of this team and I have expectations from Chris. He will be one of my key figures

I had a problem with my left wing and I solved that problem with another free player and maybe the best free player at FM 2012 start: McFadden. I am glad to see him in my team and I will give him place at my first 11.

Now one of the most important position in my formation is the AMC. Actually Graham Dorrans is the only good choice for this position and so I had to find alternatives for this position. Graham is pretty quality player and I am sure that he will not let me down.

I did it again and I started to look for a good AMC player... If i can afford to buy, I would . If not, I would go on loaning and after a long search I decided to go on loan, not to take a risk for next season and I have offered loan contract to Thiago from Barcelona. I have paid 500K for him but I am sure that he worths more.

For my attackers, I am lucky that I have Peter. He is really good player. Ok, I accept he has not magnificent attributes but you should watch him playing. He knows what to do and he is doing his job very good. Besides, his alternatives are also enough for time being, Shane Long and Somon Tchoyi
