Highlights After Season 1 ~ FM Addicted

Hello FM Addicteds,

Season 1 is over and now time to see what we did right, what we could do right and what we did wrong. Besides, what we should do for a better season.

As a general evaluation, I am OK with my training level. I will strenghten my staff if I can gain an increase from the Board. I will make a meeting with Board and we will see what we will take away.

Injuries

I had many problems with injuries. Most of the time I had difficulties while making the first 11. Especially, Yaya's injury came in such a wrong time and took a long time to fully recover

FA CUP

I know I wrote about FA Cup but this was really really important for us. Because with this glory, we will take place at UEFA Cup and it will be an important trophy for us. The money that we can earn from there will be a good source to make this team better. Winning FA Cup will be boosting effect for the team and we needed this boosting power. I am delighted to give this achievement to the Baggies' fans. I hope they will fill the stadium more to see their team next season. It is time to talk about stadium capacity. The Hawthorns' capacity needed to be increased and I get it clear in the meeting with the Board.

I took the promise from the board about the stadium expansion and a short time after the meeeting, Board announced plans to enlarge the stadium by 11.800 seats. For time being, the capacity is 26.800 so it is a good expansion and next season, if we can succeed to fill the stadium, our income will increase dramatically. To do so, we need to attract and make excited our fans with quality transfers that I will be interested in closer.

Youth Facilities

Another promise, I took from Board was youth facilities upgrade. It is highly important to have a quality youth facilities so that we will be able to grow our young talents. Because, it is vital for the little budgeted teams to growing young talents and even wonderkids so that we can survive securely. I hope to shift some young talents to Senior Squad and join them to the team for the next seasons.

While I am busy with the club business, England U23 team manager was offered to me by Fabio Capello. I definitely accepted this offer and to be honest, I really got excited. I will be managing U23 England team and I will have opportunity to see young talents and maybe it will be very useful to see these talents. Who knows, I will be adding some of them to my team :)

Unexpected Sacks

After the season end, I have witnessed two unexpected sack and I should confess that I got really suprised.

First of them belongs to Arsene Wenger. I would not believe in this if I had seen it in my dreams but it came true. Yeap, Arsene was sacked by Arsenal manager. More weird, I am one of the candidates of Arsenal's manager seat. It really flattered me but for time being, I have so many things to do in WestBrom. So I denied the interest.

Another unexpected sack came from Liverpool. They also fired their legendary manager Dalglish.

Again, I am under spots for Liverpool seat and Liverpool management asked an appointment for this position but still I did not complete my mission in WestBrom so I declined their offer too :)
