Yesterday, I started season 3 and shared my radical change thought here. I added really quality player to the team and spent € 32 M for these transfers. Ofcourse, WestBrom is not so rich after we spent so much money, at least not yet :) To afford buying these players, I had to give up some players and I did what i should do. here is the list whom I left the ways with us.
Indeed, I sold only two players and earned € 18 M. Maybe you are suprised to see I sold two attackers, Simon Cox and Chris Wood. But I am sure that while I have Shane Long, Peter Odemwingie, Yaya Sanogo and my new star Jordan Ayew. These two young players were surplus at the Hawthorns.So when I found the opportunity, I did not think twice. by the way, Burnley promoted to the Premier League and they started to spend money for the transfers. I wish a brillant future for Chris Wood at Burnley. My other sell was Simon Cox. Tottenham gave €10M for Simon and comparing to my spending to Jordan Ayew (€12M), #10 M is quite good offer.
For the other ones, I let Mamadou Diarra and James McFadden go free. Because I was paying nearly €3 M per annum for these players and I was not happy from their last season performances.
I have also sent Belchior, Leonardo Sigali, and Jonatan Bauman to my Bulgarian feeder club to gain citizenship for my players. Besides, I have sent Daniel Mohammed, Miguel Ignasi to gain experience. I am planning to use them next year.
