Southampton Story- Season 1 News ~ FM Addicted

Hello Dear FMAddicteds,

After a tough and tiring season we are on holiday. Now it is time to give some news about football, premier league and etc.

Lets start with the sack news.

The first sack news came from the Magpies side. Alan Pardew was sacked at the very early stage of the season, on November. Newcastle was not going good. They have found themselves on 12th at the table. Finally, chairman could not stand up more and pull the plug out for Pardew.

The second news was a bit surprising and timing was a bit bad for Rodgers.. Just after the Christmas, Liverpool chairman sent Brendan away.

Indeed, Liverpool was going cool but recently they could not take the points they looked for. To be honest, I believe it was a quick and wrong decision to sack Rodgers.

Third sack news came from Sunderland.

But this was an expected news. Because Sunderland was struggling to avoid from relegation but I dont think O'neill was successfull.

The last one but not the least sack news came with the last days of the season.

That was also another expected news. Because Everton was far far away from the expectations and found themselves at 19th position at the table.

Transfer News

Premier League witnessed many transfers during the season. Especially Everton received huge amount transfer money from two players, Fellaini and Baines but on the otherhand, Everton found themselves on 19th position at the table.

Another interesting point at the transfers is Newcastle.. Newcastle sold three important players, Yohan Cabaye and Cheick Tiote, Hatem Ben Arfa and before these transfers, chairman had sacked Pardew. When the team harmony broke down, the domino effect showed up

Tottenham was the most spending club in premier league but I think they got what they deserve because at the end of the season, Tottenham took the 3rd position and went to Champions League.

By the way, Paris Saint Germain continues on splashing money to the transfers. First of all they took Johan Cabaye and Chieck Tiote from Newcastle but the biggest surprise was Lucas Moura's transfer

The result ?? What a pity Saint Germain defeated agains Manu at the first knockout round at Champions League. We will see them at coming seasons.
