Southampton Story- Season 2- First Half of the Season ~ FM Addicted

Hello Dear FM Addicteds,

In my previous post, I have introduced my stars at future. During the second season, I will try to do my best to put some of these high potential young talents into action.

Besides, in each version of the game, I try to increase the value of the club. At the start of the second season the estimated value of The Saints is €105 M. At the end of this career, we will see where The Saint will go from to where.

As I mentioned before, I have introduced 12 new faces to the Saints' fans. Most of them will not be taking part immediately but in coming years, their names will be chanted by The Saints' fans. Besides, some of these transfers are "to the point" transfers such as my goalie David Ospina, defender Guillermo Burdisso, young winger Vladimir Weiss. At the end of the season, I am sure one hundred percent that I will point out them about their quality and contribution to the team.

Squad Depth
After these transfers, the team quality radically increased in some areas but there are still areas to strengthen. We will never lose our focus about squad dept: deeper squad, greater achievements..

As you see Ospina, Burdisso and Weiss increased the quality and the variety at the squad.

The Saints' Squad at the Second Season:

This squad gives the first signal for the coming years.. We have not only really quality players such as Wellington Nem, Gaston Ramirez but also very high calibre young talents such as Ibon Ochoa, Craig McBride.

Fixture: The first half of the fixture was full of surprises.

But especially two of them were the unforgottable ones with no doubt: the draw against Liverpool and win against Arsenal with the very late winning goal coming at the addition time.

Now lets take a look at these highlights. I really enjoyed with these ones.

By the way, I also want to write about my annoying transfer failure at first half of the season. He was Miroslav Stoch. I think you all know about Stoch. He won 2012 FIFA Puskas Award. Did you see his magnificient goal ? If not, see it here

He was one of my transfer target. Although I offered him a better contract than his expectation, he prefered Manchester City.. To be honest, I can not blame his for this choice but he would be a really good first team player at Southampton. Now he will be a good subs. at ManCity.
